The name "valuedata" is an oxymoron. Data is practically useless if left untreated and should not be associated with the word "value". It is through the organizing of this vast amount of data into information that provides us knowledge about something that is useful. With sufficient experience and the correct application of knowledge one can steadily develop wisdom and good judgment.
Value is derived from wisdom and good judgment (and not just data by itself). The fundamentals of good judgment is a culture of consistently applying knowledge and experience with a wide variety of tools when facing any situations.
Philosophy One Avoid "man-with-a-hammer" tendency - where every problem looks like a nail.
Philosophy Two Avoid "whose bread I eat, his song I sing" tendency. Always provide fact-based advice that is unbiased and independent.
Philosophy Three Constantly keeping up-to-date and stay relevant. Heed the advice "The man who needs a new machine tool, and hasn’t bought it, is already paying for it". |
